Emirates coming to Chicago to recruit pilots - despite tension in the air

That's a pretty gutsy thing to do given that U.S. airlines, including Chicago-based United Airlines, have been lashing out in recent months at Emirates and other major Middle East-based carriers because of the lavish subsidies U.S. airlines say those carriers get from their respective governments. U.S. carriers say the subsidies make it difficult for them to compete effectively.
