An X-Band transmission analyzer is used to integrate several RF components on to a single prince circuit board (PCB). This application note examines the complete flow and details the design of several critical elements of an X-band transmission analyzer, such as resolving coupling issues between RX and TX paths, as well as distributed elements requiring EM simulator-based tuning.
