Forbes: Cutting energy consumption at a small number of homes could disproportionately reduce greenhouse gas emissions from an entire community, according to a new study.
The study, Housing and Mobility Demands of Individual Households and their Life Cycle Assessment, measured differences in energy consumption at the household level for more than 3,000 households in Switzerland.
The key finding was that 21% of all households were responsible for 50% of all greenhouse gas emissions.
