SparX-IV VSC7449 supports switching of 48, 1 GbE ports or four 10 GbE ports in single chip, including direct connectivity 10G fiber, which offers fully managed L2/3 switching solution when combined with 12-port 1000 Base-T PHY. Capability for up to 24, 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports support upgrade to 802.11ac networks using existing cable infrastructure. Along with SyncE and 1588v2 timing support with hardware-based time-stamping, features include integrated CPU and industrial temperature range.
