Ethan Allen says measures to overhaul its stores to weigh on earnings

"As we have discussed, these initiatives are very important for the long-term, but there will be some disruption in the short-term due to continued sell off of floor samples, implementing new product through our manufacturing and increasing our operating expenses," Chief Executive Farooq Kathwari said in a statement. The company is expecting third-quarter EPS of 18 cents, below the FactSet consensus of 22 cents.
