Experts talk up economic resurgence

TASMANIA is staging an economic comeback with housing loans, retail spending, building approvals and new car sales all rising during the past 12 months. MyState chief financial officer David Harradine says the bank's quarterly analysis of trend data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed an encouraging lift in the Tasmanian economy.
