Offering countdown range from 1 minute to 30 days, PED Mk2 has integrated programmer that allows timer to be set in field. Unit features firing energy of 1.5 joules and countdown resolution of 1 sec, enabling accurate synchronization of multiple detonations. Removal of tear-off keypad makes it impossible to reprogram if timer is discovered. Able to survive immersion to depth of 30 m, PED Mk2 can be used to support general combat demolitions, ammunition disposal, and underwater mine clearance.
