On September 15, FAA signed agreements with international regulatory partners European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Transport Canada (TCCA) allowing these authorities to rely on each other's regulatory systems. In addition to eliminating duplicate processes, said agreements will accelerate installation of safety enhancing equipment on aircraft and conserve time and expense for both industry and regulatory authorities. FAA has cooperated with EASA for 10+ years and with TCCA for 15+.
