FAA Proposes $132,425 Civil Penalty Against Mountain Air Cargo

FAA is proposing $132,425 civil penalty against Mountain Air Cargo (Denver, NC) for operating ATR-42 airplane while it was not in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. Allegedly, Mountain Air Cargo mechanics improperly repaired one cargo door dent at rear of said aircraft in August 2012. FAA thereby alleges Mountain Air Cargo operated this ATR-42 aircraft on 115 flights between August 7 and October 29 in 2012 when it was not in airworthy condition.
