Facebook testing emoticons to expand 'Like' button

2015-10-09 11:12:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) Facebook has started testing in Spain and Ireland a new feature called Reactions, which extends the Like button to allow users to react to any post through six emoticons for "Love", "Haha", "Yay", "Wow", "Sad" and "Angry". The company said it will use the new function to help businesses and publishers better understand how people respond to their content. Page owners will be able to see Reactions to all of their posts on Page insights. Users can express their reactions by hovering or long-pressing the Like button wherever they see it.
