(Telecompaper) Facebook has announced that it will add its live video streaming feature to Android-powered phones by next week. The company said it will begin rolling out the service in the US, with more countries coming soon. According to Facebook, over 50 percent of people watching live content are Android users, while the average time its users spend watching video is "more than three times longer when it is live compared to when it is not live." Facebook Live allows users to broadcast live video via the company's mobile app and is already available on iOS in the US. The company has now launched the iOS feature in over 30 countries with new markets to be added within the coming weeks.
