Farmhand Foods to change name to settle dispute

Christine T. Nguyen Farmhand Foods, a Durham-based distributor of North Carolina-raised meat products to restaurants and other buyers, will change its name to Firsthand Foods Wednesday following a trademark dispute with a Smithfield brand of pork products.
