February U.S. Manufacturing Technology Orders up 5.7% from January

As reported by USMTO program participants, February U.S. manufacturing technology orders totaled $385.89 million – up 5.7% from January but down 10.6% from February 2012. Year-to-date total of $750.94 million makes 2013 down 11.9% when compared with 2012. In addition to calling month-to-month gain "certainly good to see," AMT President Douglas K. Woods said year-to-date decline in orders "is in line with expectations we had for a slight slowdown in the first two quarters of 2013." This story is related to the following:Trade Associations
