FedEx stops shipping potential bioterror pathogens

FedEx Corp. will no longer deliver packages that contain research specimens of potential bioterror pathogens, Atlanta Business Chronicle broadcast partner WXIA-TV reported early Thursday. The decision is drawing concern at major laboratories that process samples used to diagnose diseases and to development vaccines and treatments, according to USA Today, which first reported FedEx's decision.
