Sergio Marchionne, Fiat's chairman and CEO, said the fall in Fiat Chrysler shares is part of an overall weakness in the automotive segment due to uncertainty about subjects like emission regulations, connectivity and autonomous driving technology. Several prominent analysts have said Fiat Chrysler's goals are unrealistic.
