Fiber cuts that disrupted phones accidental

Phone service was disrupted for over 12 hours across northeast Colorado Tuesday night as a result of two separate cuts to fiber optic cables. The unrelated incidents both were accidental cuts done by third-party contractors, according to Stephanie Meisse, a spokesperson for CenturyLink.
