(Telecompaper) The Finnish communications regulatory authority Ficora announced that it will interrupt the 800 MHz spectrum auction. Ficora will announce the resumption of the auction after reviewing the auction rules. The spectrum auction started in January this year and has now lasted about eight months. In order to conclude the auction, Ficora is planning to adjust the regulation of the auction. The auction will be halted on 19 September after a consultation on changes to the regulation has been concluded. The auction will resume with modified rules after a one-month break.
