No one was inside the boarded up, two-story building at 5582 University Avenue when it caught fire around 2:45 p.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department. The building's roof collapsed before crews knocked down the fire around 3:10 p.m. The holiday travel season is upon us, and the Transportation Security Administration is reminding travelers to be safe and smart at the airport.
