Micro and Micro-LTE embedded UHF RFID modules of ThingMagic Mercury® 6e Series feature firmware that allows for autonomous operation by enabling hardware read triggers and savable configuration settings. Also, functionality eliminates need for users to write and run MercuryAPI development code and simplifies building of RFID-enabled products. Modules can also be configured to start reading and outputting tag data upon power up or change of state of general purpose input (GPI) line.
