CHICAGO, December 14 Fitch Ratings believes that the ratings for Corning Incorporated , including the 'BBB+' long-term Issuer Default Rating , are unaffected by Corning's exchange of its shares in Dow Corning Corporation , a joint venture with Dow Chemical Company .
