Flint water crisis brings harsh words for state from county health officials

Genesee County health officials told state lawmakers on Tuesday that a lack of communication from state agencies hampered their agency's response to the Flint water crisis. It was the first time county health officials have testified on the city's water crisis, which includes elevated blood lead levels being discovered in some of the city's youngest residents and a potential connection to a Legionnaire's Disease outbreak that left 10 dead.
