Flower Mart ballot-box pressure looms as negotiations continue

San Franciscans will soon be asked to sign a petition for a ballot measure that could block Kilroy Realty Corp.'s 1.5-million-square-foot office complex on South of Market's Flower Mart site. The group of flower vendors pushing for rent and space concessions from Kilroy will start to collect signatures for the November ballot after a March 1 self-imposed negotiating deadline passed.
