Food Emporium to change banners after sale

The Food Emporium supermarket at 280 Elm St. in New Canaan is being sold to ACME Markets as part of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing by A&P, the store's current owner. ACME said they are looking to convert the store into an ACME grocery, but couldn't provide specifics about planned changes.
