A fiber-optic technician with Verizon Communications strings cable in 2007 in Long Beach, Calif. Beginning April 1, 2016, Norwalk, Conn.-based Frontier Communications has been beset by complaints from customers in Los Angeles and other parts of California, as well as portions of Florida and Texas over glitches and customer service issues following its acquisition of Verizon territories in those states.
