John Ridsdel, left, and Robert Hall have been identified as the two Canadian men abducted, along with a Norwegian man and Filipino woman, by gunmen from an upscale resort and marina on Samal Island. A former Calgary man who worked as a journalist in the 1970s is among four people abducted at gunpoint on a southern Philippine island.
