Former Maple Leaf Foods executive chosen as finance chief for Hydro One

Ontario's government-owned electricity distributor has hired a former senior executive of Maple Leaf Foods to be its chief financial officer. Michael Vels is expected to play a key role in Hydro One's plan to sell shares to outside investors through an initial public offering.
