Former SBC president to chair Accion Texas in 2015

James Adams , a senior advisor with private equity firm Texas Next, will take over as chairman of Accion Texas Inc. on Jan. 1. Adams is a former president and CEO of Southwestern Bell and former group president of SBC Communications. He has also served as chairman of the board of Texas Instruments in Dallas.
