Former Tyco president named to lead AS&E

Charles P. Dougherty, 50, who was president at Tyco Electronics Corp.'s Communications and Industrial segment, was named Thursday as the replacement for Anthony Fabiano, who is retiring after leading the maker of sophisticated screening products for nine and a half years.
