In addition to a healthy eight figures of compensation from his final year as the chief executive of United Technologies , Louis Chnevert left the company with a payout valued at $184.3 million. The chief executive of New Britain's Stanley Black & Decker, John F. Lundgren, took home $38.9 million in 2014, up from $28.6 million the year before.
