France adds 50,000 FttH subscribers in first quarter

(Telecompaper) France added 50,000 FttH subscribers in the first quarter, taking the total to 365,000, according to telecom regulator Acep. FttH subscribers grew by nearly 70 percent compared to the end of March 2012. Some 19 percent of homes passed by fibre are now subscribers. There were 240,000 new fibre-eligible homes in the first quarter.
