France launches terror alert app for Euro 2016

(Telecompaper) The French government will for Euro 2016 introduce an "attack alert" smartphone app on 8 June, Liberation reported. Using location services, the app will warn users of potential terror attacks and tell them where these might be taking place. The app is available for Apple and Android.
