Free content downloading falls sharply amid Dutch - study

2017-06-29 11:05:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) About a quarter of Dutch people used free downloading for digital content such as video and music in January, from 40 percent in November 2013, according to the latest Telecompaper Consumer Panel study. The popularity of free downloading for content has fallen sharply in the last few years, as more streaming alternatives come on board, as people get better access to pay downloading services and amid a sharpening fight against illegal downloads.
