Suitable for up- and down-converting applications from 11–21 GHz, Model CMD178C3 has typical conversion loss of 6 dB, with very low LO leakage to both RF and IF ports of -25 and -30 dBm, respectively. Double balanced unit can operate with LO drive level as low as +9 dBm and has wide RF bandwidth from DC to 6 GHz. Housed in 3 x 3 mm SMT package, RoHS-compliant device can be configured as image reject mixer or single sideband modulator with external hybrids and power splitters.
