For the second time in two days, General Electric said it would move jobs to Europe amid continued inaction by the federal government in reauthorizing the Export-Import Bank of the United States . On Thursday Fairfield-based GE said it would create a "European Turboprop Center for Excellence " for GE Aviation employing between 500 and 1,000 people, on the heels of plans to set up a similar gas turbine production center in France.
