Using GPS technology, STR-100 provides accurate date and time for power system devices. PB-free solution accepts time reference signal from smart antenna or standard IRIG-B signal from GPS receiver or other precision time source and generates precision time signals using DCF77 or 1per10 time protocols (nominal) or IRIG-B (optional). This makes product suited for use in Sequence of Events Recording (SER) applications as precision time reference for protective relays and power monitors.
