If multitasking is a prerequisite skill for any chief executive, Kevin Gallagher's time as a bagpipe player in his native Scotland helped prepare him for the top job at Santos. "You've got to remember to keep watching where you put your feet, because you are marching and playing bagpipes at the same time," he told Fairfax Media in 2012.
