Galley Restaurant auction a hidden gem for nautical buffs

For decades, the Galley Restaurant and its nautical-themed decor have been known to drivers on Sullivan Trail and Route 33. The giant anchors and restaurant signs that adorned towering masts rose from the rear deck, designed to look like a large ship. The Galley, once a seafood staple for many in the Slate Belt, served its last customers three years ago.
