General Mills launches HefeWheaties with Fulton Beer; will it give Wheaties brand a buzz?

General Mills has been trying for years to rekindle the popularity of its Wheaties brand, and it finally may be onto something: Make a craft beer out of it. In a first, the Golden Valley-based company is partnering with Minneapolis-based Fulton Beer to launch HefeWheaties, a Hefeweizen wheat beer variety , General Mills says on its company blog There aren't actually Wheaties in the beer, but Fulton's can's design is an obvious homage to the traditional Wheaties box.
