General Mills will pay $820M for Annie's Homegrown organic foods

General Mills is buying Annie's Homegrown, one of the largest and longest-standing organic and natural brands in the U.S. General Mills will buy Annie's for $46 a share, the Golden Valley-based food manufacturer said after markets closed Monday. Annie's stock ended the day at $33.51, but was near $46 in after-hours trading.
