Germany's main telco, tech and manufacturing companies have formed an alliance to make sure that when devices do start speaking to each other over the Internet in the so-called Internet of Things market-they'll be speaking German. this week said they would work together on software standards for IoT devices that take German businesses' interests into account, chiefly increasing concerns about competition from American tech giants, as well as protecting the data of their users.
