BusinessGreen: Google has announced fresh plans to expand its efforts to broker renewable energy. The company confirmed lat last week that it is to work with with US utility Duke Energy to develop and sell power from renewable sources for datacentre facilities. Under the plan, providers will sell renewable energy to IT companies for use in their facilities, including power-hungry datacentre deployments.
