Google taking Stadia takes pre-orders ahead of November launch

(Telecompaper) Google has started taking pre-orders for its Stadia cloud gaming service, which will officially launch in 14 different territories in November with an initial 30 or so games from at least 21 publishers including Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Take-Two Interactive, Sega, Square Enix and Bethesda. The company's Stadia Founder's Edition package for early adopters can be ordered now for EUR 129.99 and will allow consumers to play video games such as Baldur's Gate III and Destiny 2 from the launch day on nearly any device without any downloads.
