(Telecompaper) Google has announced a redesign of its logo, which the company says has been updated to reflect the fact people interact with Google products across many different platforms, apps and devices. "We've taken the Google logo and branding, which were originally built for a single desktop browser page, and updated them for a world of seamless computing across an endless number of devices and different kinds of inputs (such as tap, type and talk)," said Google in a blog post. A new, thicker sans-serif font has been chosen for the redesigned logo, which retains the same colours as the previous font. There is also a new compact version of the logo with the letter 'G' in the company's red, yellow, green and blue colours as well as four moving coloured dots to indicate when Google is working.
