Thursday, June 4, Virginia Governor Terry McCauliffe came to the Omega Protein plant in Reedville to issue a proclamation that could give a boost to the economy, both on a state and local level. The proclamation increases the allowable menhaden harvest level to 158,700 metric tons, an increase of ten percent.
