Vor zehn Jahren startete EuroNatur gemeinsam mit seinen Partnern die Initiative Grünes Band Europa. Ziel ist es, den einmaligen Biotopverbund entlang des ehemaligen Eisernen Vorhangs dauerhaft zu schützen. Im Interview mit dem Fachmagazin "umwelt aktuell" erläutert EuroNatur-Geschäftsführer Gabriel Schwaderer, welche Früchte die langjährige Naturschutzarbeit bereits getragen hat, welchen Herausforderungen sich die Initiative derzeit stellen muss und inwiefern sie dazu beiträgt, kulturelle Barrieren zu überwinden.
