Author: james1234Subject: Cracks in Granite CountertopPosted: 23 Nov 2009 at 12:15pmThank you so much for your comments; they were very helpful. Sadly, I
feel like I am being pressured to accept the countertops; it is almost
as if I am too much of a perfectionist. I trusted the company that did
the work; they've been in business fifteen years. I am stunned really,
as I didn't imagine this happening. Every granite countertop I've ever
seen, in friends or families homes, seems perfect, smooth and lovely,
as did the showroom kitchen countertops at the fabricators. Now I'm
faced with the prospect of requesting the countertop be replaced, at
the risk of damaging the new undermounted sink and the new cabinets. My
husband is willing to let them try to improve the countetop somehow,
disliking this whole situation as much as I do.Edited by findstone - 01 Dec 2009 at 4:13pm
