The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality says funding for 10 projects will help restore impaired waters and protect high-quality waters by reducing sources of sediment, nutrients and other contaminants. Funding includes $600,000 to the Southwest Michigan Land Conservancy to protect wetlands in the Berrien and Van Buren County portions of the Ox Creek watershed and conduct outreach efforts.
