(Telecompaper) Shipping magnate and Greek businessman Evangelos Marinakis dropped a deal to acquire debt-ridden telecoms operator Forthnet after prolonged negotiations with local banks Alpha Bank, Piraeus and National failed, according to online publication SportBusiness.com.
