Green Parking Council (GPC), affiliate of International Parking Institute (IPI), launched Green Garage Certification program, which will recognize and inspire high standards in sustainable parking facility design, technology, operations, and management. According to GPC Executive Director Paul Wessel, Green Garage Certification provides roadmap and assessment tool with which to "strive toward a more environmentally and economically sustainable future."
