Energy Live News: Environmental campaigners have appealed against North Yorkshire County Councils decision to allow fracking. In May, the council approved Third Energy`s application to extract shale gas near the North York Moors National Park in Ryedale. Friends of the Earth has sent an application to the High Court for a judicial review of the decision following a letter it sent to the council saying it would take legal action.
